Just had great zoom call with heavies in the Article V Convention movement. Think I hit that one out of the park today. Waiting to talk, not interjecting, but clarifying in subsequent comment as to fact and law. Follow-up email:

What’s most interesting about Article V and the convention clause is that it is a litmus test—either you want to sleepwalk through this moment, falling asleep at night believing you’re doing great work in raising awareness of it, or you’re serious about obtaining it before too late.
A platoon on a hill overlooking the battlefield, you must make use of what’s available towards victory.
We can purchase the Article V Convention for about 2 million dollars: put word out about a documentary, vet 150 student delegates, fly them to a hotel in Kansas or wherever, and in the ballroom, over a weekend, all our content is in the can.
If we’re a platoon on a hill, our best chance for victory is showing our countrymen and women that a convention is not dangerous to anyone except those who oppress us.
Doesn’t that sound incredible? We can purchase a peaceable victory with a couple million bucks for a contemporary documentary.
