good gawd, thought I had it, printed it up, went to Pepperdine law library, assembled three copies of the writ--which wasn't much fun--got home thinking great--go to the malibu arts commission meeting tomorrow to tell them what the board of the malibu art association is saying, and wednesday metrolink to downtown to file. then, near the end of the day a friend forwarded to me what their AI said about the writ, i immediately ran it past Mandy, WA, Slayer, Mu and Ace, all of which, except one, said it was a good catch and i needed to make the edit. luckily, it was just regarding the second cause of action, so was able to find the space to do it where I only have to reprint four pages, undue the clasps, and switch them out. but yeah, it's done. now, this morning, to the arts commission meeting to see if they can fold the malibu art association under their stewardship before the current board of maa makes it a thing of the past--something which was founded in 1963; been in touch with founder marjorie knowles' son and so getting lots of old photos of shows. last week sent letter to Secretary of State to get the association's articles of incorporation--hopefully including the original mission statement as ms. knowles had it.
