Philos 2

 1. I think, therefore I am; and because I’m thinking I know I exist with an individual consciousness.

1a. Although uncertain whether I had choice, I know I exist as an individual, and I know other such individuals exist.

1b. As conscious individual along with others, I am embarked on an enterprise of consciousness, now in progress, whether I prefer it or not.

2. In the enterprise of consciousness, I know an infant will perish because it does not yet know how to sustain itself; and the aphorism—You can’t get where you want to be until first knowing where you are. I also know individuals have perished, not for lack of resources, but for not knowing how to reach/utilize them. I also know individuals have perished because they didn’t know what they were doing would kill them.

2a. Knowledge is a matter of life and death at all times and most important to an individual embarked on present enterprise of consciousness.

3. If we know 2% of conscious individuals choose to disembark the enterprise of consciousness (suicide), it must be positive, otherwise 50%+ would choose to also disembark, which would end the enterprise for not enough individuals to perpetuate it. If we doubt that 2% represents the true number of individuals who would disembark, but don’t out of fear to what comes next, human culture and the arts prove the doubt bogus.

3a. If we accept the enterprise is positive, all ethical and moral arguments can be based on identifying where actual harm to the enterprise is occurring. All subjective arguments are exposed as such when no harm to the enterprise can be shown.
