Poem: Wild Animals Are Currently The Most Beautiful Beings

It appears that wild animals are currently

the most beautiful beings:

look at how they all live within their means,

none of them building and buying

things they don't really need;

those who rarely cry or wail or impose,

because of the clarity that

there's nothing to make better

all things as they have always been.

But we the tame have been acting strange lately,

so they stay away;

the wild ones keep from us because

we're not as shrewd and cool as they are.

We’re out of control and crazy,

wild in our own way;

but so less true to the present,
and so, not as beautiful.
